Containment barriers
In the event of an oil spill, whether in protected waters or on the high seas, the first action should be focused on controlling the spill by means of containment barriers.
A correct selection of the type of containment boom is essential to ensure the success of an oil spill operation. Therefore, this equipment must be carefully selected with regard to size, strength and buoyancy depending on the required use.

High-speed scanning systems
Thanks to our alliance with NorLense, we have one of the high-speed scanning systems most widely used by major international pollution control agencies. The Fast Current Boomhigh-speed sweeping system is a single-operator system, inflatable from a single point.
Skimmers
Skimmers are equipment used for the mechanical collection of hydrocarbon spills in water. GRINTEC® skimmers can be differentiated between overflow skimmers, with a central floating ring or selective oleophilic skimmers, with brush, disc or drum modules.
Storage tanks
In any oil spill recovery operation, it is important to provide sufficient temporary storage volume to store the oil recovered with the skimmers. Sorbcontrol manufactures and supplies all types of temporary storage tanks.
(Self-supporting tanks, open structure tanks, closed pillow tanks and floating and/or towable tanks).
Auxiliary equipment
